Magnus Carlsen Replaces Leinier Dominguez in Biel. The Competition is the "Strongest in the History of Switzerland"

The official website of the traditional festival in Swiss Biel reported that world #1 player Norwegian Magnus Carlsen will replace Cuban player Leinier Dominguez who was already announced as the participant of the main tournament. 

The competition of category 21 will start on July 23rd and will gather Hikaru Nakamura (USA), Alexander Morozevich (Russia), Wang Hao (China), Etienne Bacrot (France) and Anish Giri (Netherlands). According to the organizers this will be the strongest tournament in the history of Biel and Switzerland.

Magnus Carlsen will also take part in the blitz tournament dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the festival scheduled to be held on July 22nd.
