The super-tournament which would be held in Bazna is postponed

There's an official announcement about the delay of the King's Tournament which had to be held in Romania, reports Chessvibes. The financial crisis together with local politics have forced the organizers to cancel the Grand Slam event which was planed to be held 23 June - 4 July 2012, however, the organizers hope to organize it later this year.

Magnus Carlsen, Vishy Anand, Teimour Radjabov, Sergey Karjakin, Vassily Ivanchuk and Liviu-Dieter Nisipeanu were among the participants of the competition.

The Kings' Tournament is the second Grand Slam tournament that got into trouble. Last year the tournament in Linares was cancelled for similar reasons, and this year the Spaniards haven't been able to restore their famous event.
