Bulgaria enters the race

Despite Veselin Topalov's unsuccessful performance at the Wijk aan Zee tournament Bulgarian Chess Federation decided to join the race to host Candidate's Tournament, informs novinite.com citing another source dnevnik.bg. The report also mentions that except Baku the race to host the battle has entered London.

As you remember, Bulgarian capital hosted the Candidate match Topalov - Kamsky in 2009 and Topalov's subsequent World Championship match against Anand in 2010. Now Bulgaria has endorsed the town Panagyurishte as a possible place to run the tournament. As novinite.com reports Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov supported exactly Panagyurishte's candidacy.
