The medalists of the Olympiad 2010 on Board 5 have eventually been awarded their prizes. Back in 2010, the gold had been given to the French player Sebastien Feller, who, however, soon was found guilty in cheating and disqualified from participating in FIDE competitions for two years and nine months. The FIDE has announced the new medalists in June 2013. First prize went to Mateusz Bartel (Poland), silver was awarded to Vlastimil Babula (Czech Republic), the player from Belarus Kirill Stupak received the bronze medal.

The updated information with the photos of the medalists appeared on FIDE website on November 9: all three players received their medals.
