Magazine 64 Has a New Editor: Maxim Notkin

Recently published 5th issue of the magazine 64 was last to be edited by Mark Glukhovsky. Glukhovsky has been appointed to the post of Chairmain of the Management Board of Russian Chess Federation, so now he handed over the reigns to Maxim Notkin who has been known as the editor of Chesspro.

"From the next issue when the new editor-in-chief will appear in full force, I will become the Chief editor," wrote Glukhovsky. "In journalism it's kind of a position of an honorary retiree who is free to grumble for any reason and feel nostalgic for better times." 


77 issues in about seven years

Mark Glukhovsky was appointed to the position in July 2007 - shortly after the death of the long-term editor of the magazine Alexander Roshal.
