"It was a great day," Vishy Anand concluded at press conference. Indian defeated Topalov, while both of his nearest rivals Kramnik and Aronian lost against Karjakin and Mamedyarov respectively.

"Great we have a rest day tomorrow... I've been looking forward to it..."

Black (Topalov) got a normal position after the opening, however, Bulgarian made several inaccuracies afterwards which led to a hard position for him. Perhaps, Black could have defended more persistently. After 31...h6? Anand assessed position as won, although according to him, his techniques wasn't the best.
