Yer Round 3 of Candidates' brought one decisive game: Vishy Anand gained his second win by defeating Shakhriyar Mamedyarov of Azerbaijan. This is Mamedyarov's second loss.

Mamedyarov got nothing after the opening, he started to look for complications and only got himself into problems. The former world champion converted his advantage with a computer like preciseness.

At the press-conference Shakhriyar was asked whether he wanted to make a draw after yesterday's loss against Aronian.

Mamedyarov noted it's harder for him to draw than to win. Azerbaijani GM couldn't clearly name the reasons for his unsuccessful start at Candidates', as he said the situation seems strange, for he spent the last month preparing and having trainings. He noted the rest day might be very useful for him in this situation as he plans to forget the terrible start and get back to his usual form.
