"Coach-Winner" Rustam Kasimdzhanov to Help Karjakin In Khanty-Mansiysk

As we have found out, Ruslan Kasimdzhanov joins Sergey Karjakin's coaching team. He will be helping Russian GM at the Candidates' which will take place in Khanty-Mansiysk, while Yuri Dokhoian and Alexander Motylev will assist Karjakin on distance.

Kasimdzhanov has a reputation of the coach-winner: Vishy Anand won the matches 2008, 2010 and 2012 with his help, while German national team became the European champion in 2011.

"We have had good relations for a long time already and Iconsider the fact that I managed to convince him to work with me as a big success," Karjakin said. "Apart this, he hasalso been friends with my manager Kirill Zangalis, which also played an important role. They went to the same chess school in Tashkent."

One of Rustam Kasimdzhanov's big successes was winning of FIDE knock-out held in Tripoli in 2004.
