One of the strongest GMs dies after a long illness
Vugar Gashimov has died in Germany today after a long illness. He was only 27.
Gashimov was considered as one of the strongest GMs of the world. His top rating was 2761 in 2012. In the middle of that year he didn't participate in the competitions and was undergoing treatment in Germany.
