"Only the lazy hasn't given his prognosis of the upcoming match," Ilya Levitov noted on his Facebook page. He also shared his thoughts on the forthcoming battle.

"I think everything depends on one factor which we can't predict. How much will his teeth be chattering with fear, how nervous and afraid of Magnus Vishy will be (I heard of that 'teeth chattering' a lot from the players who played against him). If he manages to overcome that fear, I don't really understand what makes Magnus a favourite; the match will be approximately equal and if Vishy will manage to get comfortable positions after the openings, in fact he will have an advantage. Magnus has very strong advantage (for instance, the unique quality of the average move), but he also has weaknesses - he is lazy. I don't think it's possible to do the work Kramnik and Anand are doing in years only in several months. Vishy can win several games by the opening or just get a big advantage and go for it.

And if his feet give the way under him, the intrigue will die in the middle of the match. What he is best at is beating and finishing off.

I will root for Vishy. I like Magnus, but Vishy belongs to the generation of the players I adore. Anand, Ivanchuk, Gelfand. Ideologically I am much closer to Vishy and Boris than to Magnus and the players of his age.

Historically,Magnus's win would be logical, but I have remembered the stories about young Anand for the whole life. When young players appear, those who play quickly and well, they always remember me Vishy, "You had to see him! He would spend 15 minutes on the game and win it!" Let's give the benefit of the doubt to one of the genious players in chess history.

I am sure that the match will be extremely interesting and I am looking forward to following it."
