A Window To Europe

You could already see the highest building in the center of Belgrade in my previous report. Back then your correspondent didn't know that the "heart" of the European Chess Union - the main office - is located exaclty in this building.

This is a 24-story building; the chess office is on the 19th floor.

The "smart" elevator needs seconds to bring you to the floor you need, you can actually choose the one you need while waiting for the elevator cab.

Non-smoking area.

The first thing that will catch your eyes is the wall with the portraits of the world champions; the order is quite chaotic though.

My guide - the press secretary of the EIWCC Nadezda Stojanovic

The room for negotiations and conferences.

The view from the window is definitely captivating.

How can you be working here?

This is a working seat of the Executive Director of ECU Vladimir Sakotic.
