In the interview to Sport-Express Kirsan Ilyumzhinov told the Head of the company AGON Andrew Paulson has been "quite heavily criticized" at the recent FIDE Presidential Board meeting held in Baku, Azerbaijan.

"He [Paulson] is trying to establish contact with big corporations in order to conclude package deals, but the business giants are sluggish, wary and it's not easy to work with them... We didn't shoot from the hip and gave Paulson an opportunity to try to establish those contacts with the corporate sponsors. The time frame given to Paulson is pretty tight though - he has time till September."

Let us recall, FIDE gave the company AGON the right for holding the World Championship Cycle, however, the venues of the last two stages of the Grand Prix were changed, it's also been awhile there's nothing heard about Paulson and Co's participation in the organization of FIDE competitions.
