Tbilisi: Garry Kasparov Presented the Computer Program for Chess Education at Schools (PHOTOS)

Garry Kasparov has visited Tbilisi, Georgia. He appeared at the Ministry of Sports and Youth and met the First Deputy Minister GM Zurab Azmaiparashvili.


Gia Giorgadze, the president of the Georgian Chess Federation was also present at the meeting.

Аnd this the photo from the experimental school in which the 13th World Champion presented computer program KCFE (Kasparov Chess Foundation Europe) - it will be adopted in Georgian schools from October. 

"Chess is not just sports, but it's cheap means for improvement the education. Chess contributes to development of logic and intellectual thinking among the youngsters," Garry Kasparov is cited by the Georgian mass media. 

As the Ministry of Education reports Georgia will be the first country to introduce the new method of chess education at schools. Officials plan to launch the program in approximately 100 Georgian schools in the nearest future
