The information we've reported earlier has been officially confirmed: Kirsan Ilyumzhinov chose Turkey to participate at the Women's Team Championship. The participants' list is published on FIDE website (pdf) in the agenda of the Presidential Board which will take place from January 18th to 21st in Tsakhadzor, Armenia. The teams of Russia, China, Ukraine, India, Romania, Armenia, USA, South Africa, Kazakhstan and Turkey will compete for the title.

As you know FIDE president had an opportunity to nominate one country, however, it had to be among top-16 teams six month before the start of the competition. If we check the start rating list of the participating teams at the Olympiad held in Istanbul (it started exactly six months before the planned start of the WTCC) we will find Turkey to be 45th.

Apparently, the dates and venue of the championship can be questioned. In any case the agenda gives no information on any, although the same information regarding other tournaments is specified. At the moment according to the official FIDE calendar the championship is scheduled to take place from March 2nd to 13th.
